Top 15 Asset Management Stocks, Ranked by Marvin Scores
Marvin's rules picked 15 asset management stocks above about $300 million in size. Victory Capital, Hercules Capital and Blue Owl Technology Finance have the highest overall scores relative to industry peers.
Asset management companies invest money on behalf of others and earn fees or investment income from doing so. This list covers 15 companies in that industry, chosen and ordered by Marvin's own scores, with the highest overall score first.
Not every company reports the same figures. Some have revenue growth and operating margin, while others only have return on equity and debt. Where a figure is missing, the blurb says so, and you should not read the gap as good or bad.
Marvin's scores only show how a company compares with other asset managers today. They are not forecasts, and a high score does not tell you what a stock will do next.
The list
How Marvin ranked these stocks
Marvin included companies above about $300 million in size from the Asset Management industry and ranked them by Overall score, highest first. Overall, Quality and Opportunity scores run on a scale from zero to one hundred and are measured relative to each company's own industry, so a high score means a company looks strong compared with other asset managers, not compared with every stock in the market.

Common questions
What do Marvin's Overall, Quality and Opportunity scores mean?
They are scores from zero to one hundred that compare a company with other companies in its own industry. Quality reflects the strength of the business, and Opportunity is a separate measure. Overall combines the picture. They describe today's comparison and do not predict future results.
Why do some stocks have fewer figures than others?
Companies report their finances differently, and some figures, such as operating margin or revenue growth, are not available for every stock. Where a figure is missing, Marvin leaves it out instead of guessing, so it is worth checking the company's own filings for the full picture.
Does a higher rank mean a stock is a better investment?
No. The ranking shows how a company's scores compare with other asset managers at one point in time. It is not a recommendation or a forecast. Your own goals, how much risk you can accept and further research matter just as much.
